Description: The Kansas Association of the Deaf (KAD) and Kansas Association of Interpreters - Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf (KAI-RID) are proud to co-host the 2015 conference on June 11-13, at the KU Edwards Campus in Overland Park, Kansas. The conference theme is "Express Yourself: Allies Through Sign Language."
The official language for this conference is ASL. All presentations will be given in ASL, and all participants are strongly encouraged to use the entire duration of the conference. Voice interpreting will be provided for those who do not sign.
We are looking forward to having a great conference this year! Please look over the attachments in this email, including a general information flyer, hotel rates and information, and the registration form. The early bird combo deadline is April 1st, so take advantage of this low rate while it is still available. The early bird prices are $80 for members (KAD or KAI-RID), $110 for non-member, and $40 for Senior Citizens and students. The combo includes registration, lunch (Friday and Saturday), entertainment (The Anderson Twin Show) and banquet. The prices will increase $30 between April 1st to May 1st and then another $30 after May 1st.
